Surgical Institute of South Dakota is a team of caring professionals specializing in general surgery.

Our office is located on the 7th floor of the Plaza 4 building on the north side of the Avera McKennan Hospital campus. Courtesy valet parking is available to patients at the front entrance of Plaza 4. Free parking is also available in the North and South parking ramps that are connected by skywalk to the hospital and Plaza 4. The parking ramps are located along 20th Street which runs east and west on the north side of the Avera McKennan campus.

For patients in need of hotel accommodations, the Center Inn is conveniently located across the street from Plaza 4. Reservations can be made by calling the hotel directly at (800) 456-0074.

Our surgeons are on staff at Avera McKennan Hospital & University Health Center, Sioux Falls Specialty Hospital, Avera Heart Hospital of South Dakota, and Sanford USD Medical Center. We also offer services at several outreach locations in the surrounding area including Flandreau, South Dakota, Dell Rapids, South Dakota, Freeman, South Dakota, Hendricks, Minnesota, and Tyler, Minnesota.
